Nigeria’s economic growth edges up to 4.07% y/y in fourth quarter - REUTERS

ABUJA, Feb 27 (Reuters) - Nigeria’s economy grew 4.07% in the fourth quarter of last year, up slightly from 3.98% growth in the preceding quarter, data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed on Friday.

Growth picked up in both the oil and non-oil sectors of the economy, the data showed.

Nigeria’s average daily oil production stood at 1.58 million barrels per day in the final three months of 2025.
