Canadian dollar weakens, benchmark yield slips - REUTERS
The Canadian dollar weakened against the greenback on Thursday, and the yield on benchmark government debt slipped.
The loonie was trading 0.1% lower at C$1.3513 to the greenback, or 74 U.S. cents, after trading in a range of 1.3504 to 1.3523.
Canadian government 10-year bond yields fell 2.2 basis points to 2.973%. The yield on similar U.S. government benchmark debt fell to 3.7326%.
U.S. October crude futures rose 66 cents to $69.86 a barrel on Thursday.
