Gold Attempts to Break Past Its April Record - BARRON'S

Gold looks ready to break out. The metal traded near $3,411 .30 on Thursday, coming closer to its last record level of $3,425.30, which it hit in April. In the time since then, gold prices have traded in a narrow range and settled each day between $3,187.2 and $3,399.2.
