NAIROBI, Sept 4 (Reuters) – Kenya’s shilling firmed slightly against the dollar on Wednesday, LSEG data showed.

At 0720 GMT, the shilling traded at 128.25/129.25 to the U.S. currency, compared with Tuesday’s closing rate of 128.50/129.50.

Traders had said earlier this week that the shilling was expected to gain ground, helped by dollar inflows from the agriculture and tourism sectors.
