Nigeria naira drop 1.25% to record black market low -traders - REUTERS

ABUJA- The Nigerian naira fell 1.25% against the dollar on the black market on Tuesday to hit a new record low of 557 naira, traders said.

The currency, which had opened at 550 per dollar, has been hitting new lows on the unofficial market following central bank actions to channel demand for dollars from the black market.
