High Yields on Domestic Nigerian Debt Expected to Sustain Dema - BLOOMBERG

High yields and the stability of the naira are seen maintaining investor interest in domestic Nigerian debt, with the central bank expected to only gradually ease borrowing costs as inflation cools.
“Nigeria papers still offers very attractive yields relative to peer markets,” said Simon Kitchen, managing director at Emerging & Frontier Capital in London. “I don’t think that the beginning of monetary easing will reduce the appeal of the naira carry trade.”
