The Nigerian naira depreciated against the United States (US) dollar, trading at N1,370.6373 at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) official foreign exchange (FX) window on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.
The data shared on the CBN’s official platform shows that the naira traded at the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM) rate of N1,370.6373 per dollar and closed at N1,373.0000 per dollar.
The currency, which traded at an NFEM rate of N1,369.1064 on Monday, June 22, 2026, has depreciated slightly by at least N1.53 after trading activities on Tuesday.
At the parallel market, the naira-to-dollar buying rate remained unchanged, while the selling rate depreciated by N5 when compared to the previous trading rate on Monday, June 22, 2026.
According to AbokiFX, the Naira-to-dollar exchange rate at the black market on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, was N1,390 per dollar for the buying rate and N1,395 per dollar for the selling rate.
