The Nigerian naira depreciated slightly against the United States (US) dollar, trading at N1,350.7402 per dollar at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) official foreign exchange window on Tuesday, 21st April, 2026.
The data uploaded on the CBN’s official platform showed the naira traded at the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM) rate of N1,350.7402 per dollar and closed at N1,350.9900 per dollar.
When we compare this rate to that of Monday, 21st April, 2026 when the Nigerian currency traded at N1,349.6737, the Nigerian currency depreciated slightly by at least N1.
At the parallel market, the naira-to-dollar exchange rate for the buying rate decreased by N6 while the selling rate decreased by N5 when compared with that of the previous trading rate on Monday, 21st April, 2026.
According to AbokiFX, the Naira-to-dollar exchange rate at the black market on Tuesday, 21st April, 2026, was N1,392 and N1,400 per dollar for buying and selling rates, respectively.
