Naira gains, trades N1,375.3/$ at official FX market - NIGERIAN TRIBUNE

The Nigerian naira appreciated against the United States (US) dollar, trading at N1,375.3083 at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) official foreign exchange (FX) window on Tuesday, July 21, 2026.

The data shared on the CBN’s official platform shows that the naira traded at the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM) rate of N1,375.3083  per dollar and closed at N1,374.5000 per dollar.

The currency, which traded at an NFEM rate of N1,380.1094 on Monday, July 20, 2026, has appreciated slightly by at least N4.8 after trading activities on Tuesday.

At the parallel market, both the buying rate and selling rate appreciated by N2 when compared to the previous trading rate on Monday, July 20, 2026.

According to AbokiFX, the Naira-to-dollar exchange rate at the black market on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, was N1,405 per dollar for the buying rate and N1,410 per dollar for the selling rate.
