Nigeria’s GDP rate grew by 4.4% in Q2, says NBS - THE CABLE

The National Bureau of Statistics says Nigeria’s economy grew by 4.43 percent in real terms in the second quarter (Q2) of 2026.

The bureau announced the development in its latest GDP report for Q2 2026 on Monday.

The latest growth rate is higher than the 4.23 percent recorded in Q2 2025, indicating a 0.2 percentage-point increase year-on-year.
