South Africa’s Q4 GDP up 0.6% quarter on quarter - REUTERS

PRETORIA, March 4 (Reuters) – South Africa’s economy expanded 0.6% in the fourth quarter of last year in seasonally-adjusted quarter-on-quarter terms, statistics agency data showed on Tuesday.
Economists polled by Reuters had predicted an expansion of 0.9%.
Fourth-quarter gross domestic product grew 0.9% on a year-on-year basis, in line with economists’ forecasts for 0.9% growth.
