UK Inflation Expectations Stay Elevated in Headache for BOE - BLOOMBERG

UK businesses’ wage and inflation expectations held at stubbornly elevated levels in the first quarter despite signs that the labor market is slowly cooling.
A Bank of England survey of finance chiefs found that firms expect consumer prices to rise 3.2% over the next year, the highest level in a year. They expect to increase their own prices by 3.9%, compared to 4% in the previous three-month period.
