US 10-Year Treasury Yield Will Top 5% This Year, Survey Shows - BLOOMBERG

The recent selloff in US bonds that’s sent 30-year yields to multi-decade highs is poised to set another milestone, with the majority of respondents to the latest Markets Pulse survey predicting the 10-year benchmark will soon exceed 5%.
Two-thirds of 392 respondents to the survey conducted this week see 10-year Treasury yields topping that key level before year-end — territory they have barely inhabited since 2007. Some 38% reckon it will be breached in the fourth quarter, while 28% see it happening this month or next. The poll also had the most participants in four years say they see 10-year yields rising in the next month.
