Dollar Weakens Against Yen, Euro - THE WALL STREET JOURNAL
1554 ET – The dollar keeps weakening amid signs of a cooling US economy. The WSJ Dollar Index falls 0.5%, its third consecutive daily decline, after losing 1.7% last week. The greenback weakens 0.8% versus the yen and the Australian dollar, 0.4% versus the pound and 0.3% versus the euro. A major outlier is the Argentine peso, which is 0.5% weaker against the dollar after the election of Javier Milei as president. He plans to use the greenback as the national currency.
