Naira strengthens, trades N1,369.6346/$ at official FX market -

The Nigerian naira strengthened against the United States (US) dollar, trading at N1,369.6346 at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) official foreign exchange (FX) window on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.

The data shared on the CBN’s official platform shows that the naira traded at the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM) rate of N1,369.6346  per dollar and closed at N1,369.0000 per dollar.

The currency, which traded at an NFEM rate of N1,375.3083 on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, strengthened by at least N5.67 after trading activities on Wednesday.

At the parallel market, both the buying rate and the selling rate depreciated by N3 when compared to the previous trading rate on Tuesday, July 21, 2026.

According to AbokiFX, the Naira-to-dollar exchange rate at the black market on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, was N1,405 per dollar for the buying rate and N1,410 per dollar for the selling rate.
