Nigeria Expands Stocks Trading Hours After Frontier Index Return - BLOOMBERG

Nigerian Exchange Group is expanding equities trading hours after index provider FTSE Russell said it would allow the country’s equities to return to its frontier-markets benchmark later this year.

Trading time on the Nigerian stock exchange market or NGX will be brought forward to 9am from 9.30am while closing time will be extended to 4pm from 2.30pm, with effect from April 27, the Nigerian Exchange Group, said in emailed statement.
