Naira appreciates against USD - DAILY POST

The naira recorded an appreciation against the dollar at the official foreign exchange market on Tuesday after beginning the week on a negative note.
Central Bank of Nigeria data showed that the naira strengthened to N1,330.47 per dollar on Tuesday, up from N1,331.33 exchanged on Monday.
This means that the Nigerian currency firmed up at the official FX market by N0.86 on a day-to-day basis.
Meanwhile, at the black market, the naira remained flat at N1,375 per dollar on Tuesday, the same rate traded on Monday.
The mixed sentiments across the official and parallel foreign exchange markets came as the country’s foreign reserves surged further to $54.91 billion as of September 28, 2026.
Recall that the naira weakened against the dollar on Monday to begin the week on a bearish note.
