NNPC Limited says it’s profit after tax rose by 33 percent in 2025, increasing from 5.4 trillion Naira recorded in 2024 to 7.2 trillion Naira in 2025.

The company disclosed this at it’s Annual General Meeting and earnings call, where it presented it’s audited financial results for the 2025 financial year.

NNPC Limited reported revenue of 34.5 trillion naira, while earnings per share stood at 35.9 Naira.

Despite a decline in crude oil prices and reduced white-product volumes following the removal of fuel subsidy, the company says improved operational efficiency and disciplined management helped drive higher profitability.

The oil company also recorded a 39 percent increase in taxes, royalties and other remittances to government, rising to 22.3 trillion naira.

Operationally, crude oil and condensate production reached a five-year high of 1.77 million barrels per day at it’s peak, while Nigerian gas supply climbed to a three-year high of 7.2 billion standard cubic feet per day.
